Prescription Coverage

The Medicare Prescription Drug Plans have nearly all stopped paying agents to enroll people into plans. My parents made me work for very little or for free when I was a kid. Now at my age, I refuse to work without payment. However, I am willing to help my clients and others with finding and enrolling in a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan for themselves.

First set up a https://www.medicare.gov/account/login/ Medicare knows all the prescriptions youve been taking and all the options you have. If you aren’t a computer person, ask a friend or family member to help you. Call Medicare at 1.800.633.4227 or as a last resort, call me I will walk you through the process.

Second, since the donut hole or coverage gap ended, you can now expect all the deductibles and copayments or coinsurance you pay to count toward the $2100 maximum drug cost. Premium does not count toward the maximum so choose a low premium plan if it has all your prescriptions available.
